The bash plate for the 2008 is horrendous.

Basically, Honda cut a hold on the left hand side of the bash plate so that the catalytic convertor (CC) has room to hang down.

It's minging. The CC hangs down like a testicle hanging out of your old gym teacher's shorts that were too tight.

I took about 4 pictures of the new bashplate when I saw the 2008 for the first time ever last year at the Paris show. Photos are loaded under my user name.
