    Newbie

Evening, just bought 2000 x plate Transalp 650, will full Honda luggage. Gonna use it for commuting mainly and the odd weekend as I have a Triumph toy for sundays. Has done 11500 miles and been used as a workhorse for all its life, being left outside for almost all of it. But has full Honda history. Really looking forward to getting it. Any recommendations on tyres and according to service book due a service. Whats involved on the 12000mile service?

    Welcome to the site
I know nothing about Transalp or any bike for that matter but i am sure someone will be along shortly which does.
You better post a pic of your bike as soon as you get it or Sharriebee(which will be along shortly) will tell you of
They call him "Ze Quiet one"
I listen to what the rice crispies tell me to do

Good choice, tho' it has to be said some of us are touch biased in here...

Give yerself a few weeks and you can leave that lardy Brit iron in the shed and go and get your 'alp wet and dirty on a Sunday !

Welcome to the site, great choice of bike, as already mentioned you will soon find the TA more useful than the Brit Iron.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
