07 TA SEAT - Plain Black or 2 Tone ?

Further to my prev thread, regarding recently purchased 07 TA (supplied with Low Seat), my dealer called to say the standard seat had arrived.

Opened box on way out of shop to find the seat is ALL BLACK ? I asked a shop guy "surely my TA should have a Two Tone Grey/ Black seat for 07 year ? Like that one there in yr park" (pointing).

He replied that it would be correct as they order using vehicle VIN details

Anyone know if any of the last of the 650's came with plain black seat ?

MORE IMPORTANT TO ME.. are the "All black" ones any different in the comfort stakes to the "two-tone with Honda logo on pillion sides " type i think mine should have?? This (comfort) being my major issue as i have rear-end problems !! (No i dont mean i was in front of Lewis Hamilton at the Lights in the Pit Lane )

Of course i at least have the Low Seat to try with the "due soon" Air Hawk....

Hi mate my bike is a 56 and has a grey and black seat,

Definitely two tone grey and black, they have been like that since the 05 update.

What your dealer has ordered in a 00 - 04 Transalp seat, when the bike got a minor update in 05, they changed to the two tone seat. Not having tried both I can't comment on comfort issues.
