Well, that's a blow and no mistake.

More time to ride your new bike, which must be a plus.

And good luck with the test.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

I stalled the CB500 twice on my test and was convinced I'd failed, as soon as I gave up trying to hard my riding improved no end, got back to the test center still convinced I'd failed only to be informed I'd passed!!!!
So the one bit of advice I would give is stay relaxed and treat it just like any other another ride out. (easier said than done I know)

    Re: How lucky am I??

I have a problem with tests I always go to pot.
When I just go out and drive or ride I am fine.
I passed my bike test 30 years ago. That was on the Wednesday then my car test on the Thursday, a bit harder for the HGV 3 then one year later my HGV 2 then my PCV and HGV 1. On each I was not told it was a test.
Still to this day we get spot checks to test standard without our knowing until the report arrives on the bosses desk. So just have a fun ride out but keep to the speed limit.

    Re: How lucky am I??

Bad news about the job.... but all that free time to enjoy the bike, lets hope the weather improves for you too!!

Good luck on the test Thursday, I did mine a couple of weeks ago, managed the emergency stop and U turn ok but the rest of the ride seemed a bit scrappy and not the best riding i've done.. convinced I may have failed I thought sod it and just relaxed and rode like I normally do and forgot the examiner was there.

Passed with one minor whoo hoo!! so like people say just ride for yorself and good luck.

    Regards.
