XL650 yes? Should check your original thread but feelin lazy. My Transalp does 170 approx per tank, previous owner MarkR said 180 but I wimp out a bit early I guess!

Last fill up was at 180 miles and only squeezed in 14.5 litres - so 1 gallon left in the tank. Working it out, that was 57mpg! Mind you I have been doing some bimbling about looking for "less travelled roads" in this part of Western Ireland.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Good luck with new bike mate - you'll enjoy it.

On mine using multiple shortish trips and long days fun riding I get an average of 10.5 per litre. making 190 miles per tank.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
