As far as I know yes it does. I was told that the official Honda lowering kit includes a "contoured" seat and rear shocker link thingy (as you can tell, I ain't a mechanic) but I don't know of anyone on here that actually has one.

I haven't heard of any third party kits so a Honda dealer would probably be a good place to start.

Let us know if you get sorted (with pics of course)

I have the low seat on my 2008 TA 700 and it gives you about 20mm on the seat height. Saw nothing about a pro-link modification in the accessory list from my Honda dealer though...

As they said Honda has a lower (20mm less) saddle as a genuine accessory. You can order it through your Honda dealer, code is 08F82-MFF-800. As for different likage try having a look at SW-Motech, they used to make a lowering kit for the 650: their importers are these fellows http://www.motohaus.com/ .

at the moment i lowered my new 2008 transalp from the front fork (about 3 cm ) and from the rear shock, i lowered it about 3 cm as well, but its still too high for me because the seat is a little bit wider than the transalp 600. recently i saw a short monoshock and shorter front springs from germany. im thinking about to buy them but they are a little bit expansive but it lowers the bike about 5cm.ill talk to you later and thanks for replying
