Newbie with some questions

Hey All,

I have just got back into biking and have got a 650v, I am loving it and have a few questions.
1) Does anyone ride the green lanes in the Gloucester area and would'nt mind a novice joining?
2) I wouldnt mind fitting some spots to the bike, any suggestions?
3) After hunting around for hard luggage and decideing that I couldnt afford a new mortgage, i have managed to pick up a pair of large ammo boxes (looking good sprayed black). Does anyone know a company that does CHEAP tubular racks?

It's a great site here and i can try to answer some of your questions.

Green lanes, there are a few check out some of the meetings in the meetup section we have a few members who do organise some greenlaning, I went last year with Boboneleg and Barftone and ther were brilliant and very patient with a squeeling slow beginner.

I got spots for my TA from Halfords and they weren't too difficult to fit, There should be lots of threads about it in the Transalp bit so have a look and if you get stuck then there will be someone who can help out. (I can't give technical details cause I usually make the tea and let the bloke of the house get on with the technical stuff)
