...'cuz that's when I pick up my (1900 miles new) Transalp.


Went for a test ride at my nearby Honda dealers yesterday. They had a grey, March 08 registered XL700 for a very good price with loads of extras... tall screen, centre-stand, panniers, top box, fog lights, auxiliary power socket, and the shiny metal trims. So I've now got a mint bike with all the extras I wanted (and more) for quite a bit less than the cost of a standard new one... Way to go!

I'm going to be a wee bit sad letting my baby Varadero go though, because you only ever have one first bike, and it's been a really good one.

The weather forecast still looks halfway decent for the weekend, too...

Congratulations Mando . Your gonna find the 'Alp a natural progression from the Vara, just as comfortable but loads more grunt . Hope the weather is good for you when you pick it up. Enjoy it

Me Too!!!! Brand new 700 (in grey) being delivered to honda dealer tomorrow and extras being put on and hopefully able to pick up saturday.
