    Smile Bargain

    Hello all,

Sorry but I have to tell you this--Picked up a very cheap 1998 600 that had been stored and needed tlc, one of the things it needed was the chrome ends on the exhaust (originals very rusty) Anyway looked on all sites i could think of and spent loads of time cleaning her up when the missus started moaning about the breakfast bar wanted replacing and that I should do that and not play with bikes!
Was just about to argue when I noticed the chrome leg on said breakfast bar looked similar diameter, rushed out checked and it was exactly the same!! needless to say cut with grinder 4 holes drilled = good as new!!
    BARGAIN

    ps breakfast bar on bricks!

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

    Re: Bargain

My beloved went ape **** the other day, she was at work I was playing with bikes all day. Being a house/husband can be very hard.

I got my old BMW R80RT looking so good I have decided not to sell, its just too good a bike.

I also have a 1998 600 TA, great bike, I personally like it better than the newer models.

I find that having dinner on the table when my other, and clearly better, half gets in works a treat.

So, how about a quick recipe thread?? For the sake of all the house husbands out there.
