    New Boots tomorrow

    My front tyre has split

This is not a shock as I knew I was pushing it to the limit but was hoping they would last till after the longest day - which they did

8000 miles out of a pair of Trailmax. Excellent.

I wanted to replace with similar - I cant push them any further - there is a reasonable bit of thread left on them still - its just the rubber itself has perished and cracked - BUT - I can only get Distanzas tomorrow as noone has dunlops in stock.

Anyone here run Distanzas - how do you find them?

How do you find it in the wet - does it move around much - like the Trailwings?
HAve to say the Dunlops were like glue stuck to a really sticky thing in the wet. Unbelievable.

Very good tire mate!! trailwing wants to slip away from the front

distanzia is really sticky once warm

And supprisingly good on mun/gravel/big puddles, where the trail wing failed again

I have distanza's on mine and I have had no soiling moments.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

I put Distanzias on my Dommie and they were great - much better than the Trailwing things that were on it when I got it. Like Palmer said, the front Trailwing was scary when being 'enthusiastic' even in bone dry conditions.

I never thought the Dommie had ground clearance problems until I put the Distanzias on. They run at quite high pressures if I remember correctly. Go with what Avon specify, not the standard Honda pressures.

    Re: New Boots tomorrow

Yep - ahd them fitted today as this was the first chance I could get - they run 36 PSI front and back

£130 for both - balanced and fitted - I didnt think that was too bad

They didnt have a 130 for the back though so Im back to a skinny little 120 Much prefer the profile of the 130

Hi Alp, are you sure on those pressures? I'm running Distanzia's front and back on my TA and run F 29psi R 33psi as recommended on the Avon Website, see pic. below,
