The best way they could review the bikes is by all around a price, or similar models of the same size.
Either costing around £8000, or say an engine size of 650 to 800 cc from the main manufacturers, All in the Adventure bike class.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Being fairly new to biking and having a TA700 as my first bike-which I sat my Mod 1 and 2 tests on- all i can say is that it is a good bike-much more fun than people realise-and yes it does have a few areas that could be improved-6th gear and perhaps 20bhp more would be nice for example. But having just done 1000miles in 4 days round the scottish highlands she is more than acceptable-fuel economy was between 52 and 58mpg,handling on Anakees was more fun than i thought-totally scrubbed the edges of the tyres! And rear one was brand new!
All in all who cares what some tester thinks? I have had mine for 18months and put over 8k miles on it and enjoyed every one more than i ever imagined-It was bought to enjoy and every trip is excellent!
And quite frankly who wants a boring parellel twin when a nine v twin is so much better sounding!!!!
As long as you are happy with what you ride, why worry!
