Question Ideas on things to do to the bike

    Hey all,

Im trying to personalise my TA, I have fitted fog lights, crash bars, ammo boxes for panniers (still saving for the real ones), heated grips and a tall screen (in fairness that came with the bike).

So whats next? I want to replace the hand guards and also want to get a taller flat seat (any suggestions for how to do this on the cheap would be helpful). Any ideas on what else I could do on a budget? I use this bike daily as its my only form of transport so anything to make it more comfy and it has to look good.

dp - in yr post you mention "also want to get a taller flat seat (any suggestions for how to do this on the cheap would be helpful)."

Well my suggestion ? I too considered having seat re-worked but from hours of trawling this forum & others i came to the conclusion its somewhat of a Gamble - MANY report that they were dissapointed with end rewsult etc etc.

So i took a Gamble myself and bought an Airhawk cushion - WOW now thats what i call comfort !! Also it raises one in the seat a bit so this might be worth considering - just a thought....

i really wasnt prepared to forkout big sums for seat re-work (thought i could always sell the Airhawk on if i didnt like) and the bonus is i can use it on any of my 5 bikes if i wanted / needed AND if the Trannie ever goes ive still got it for future use !.

P.M me if you want advice on cheap procurement of Airhawk (dont know if its good etiquette to promote sellers overseas here but the savings massive !! - ANOTHER SAD CASE OF RIP OFF BRITAIN )

Scrap that, because your not subscribed you can't do it that way.

You will need to have the picture hosted on another site such as smugmug or photobucket, then copy the picture link and paste it here

you then need to type in after

Or you could just subscribe and for £10 you will get access to the photo gallery where you can store you photos, you will be able to post in the for sale and wanted and view the discounts and deals section.

    Best tenner I've spent
