Sunday 14th - Our Lady of Graces. Malta.
Patron of Motorcyclists, Our Lady of Graces. Annual Pilgrimage in Malta on Sunday.
0945 Hours start from Mosta to proceed through Birkirkara, then along the regional road to St.Julian’s and Spinola Bay, along Sliema front, then Gzira strand to Msida, Floriana and Valletta, back through Floriana to Hamrun, then around the Grand Harbour through Marsa, Paola, Senglea, Cospicua and finally through Fgura to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces at Zabbar.

The pilgrimage is a traditional religious procession and organisers are requesting that participants dress and behave decently.

A memento of the pilgrimage will be presented to all participants.

The pilgrimage was first embarked upon fifty-seven years ago, when His Holiness Pope Pius XII declared Our Lady of Graces the Patron of Cyclists.

You'd all have loved taking part in the 'pilgrimage', 'cept for the having to put up with the lack of cooling rain, 'cept for the having to keep the dark glasses on.
