Went for a ride yesterday, Beamish Run. The Desperado's I ride with all have sports bikes and I have to push 'the goat' to keep up.

Average mpg riding like a 'vicar on valium' 48-50 mpg, riding with the Desperado's 42 mpg. Am I pushing the Transalp too much, should I use my BMW R80 RT when riding with the big boys?
