    Thumbs up Cruise Control Installed

I just had electronic cruise control fitted to my 06 TA. I must say it is absolutely fantastic!!!. Feels a little weird letting the bike do the accelerating, but nothing that I wont be able to get used too. Doing a long trip from Darwin to Adelaide Australia which is about 3,100kms, i thought cruise control might be in order...
The supplier is so customer service focused that i was amazed. He even emailed me the installation instuctions so i could have a look at it... It is hard to find good customer service these days...
Anyone looking at getting cruise control for their TA, here is the link, you will not be dissapointed..

Wow you must of done a fair bit of drinking for you to do it in 3 weeks...good on ya mate...lovely country side hey....nothing..lol, but the experience oand just being on the TA is enough for me...we are moving to a cooler climate in Victoria so heated handgrips might be the next investment.....

I have a friend in Oz (Perth) who was complaining about it being "cold" a few weeks ago - it was 18degrees. That is the height of bloody summer here. Its not cold until it is below 0. Otherwise its a mere "chill in the air".

Yeh 18 degrees is pretty cold for them over there, but i really think I will be feeling it since we are used to 35 degree days and 25 degree nights...I hate the cold..I am glad i dont experience your weather over there...maybe you should move to the northern territory, bloody beautiful weather for riding..you can guarantee a perfect day everyday here.... I hope the cold isnt preventing you from getting on the bike!!!

Dont know if you have done a long trip like that before, but it'll be tough. I did Co Clare to Dublin on 125 - it took ages, and my vision was fixed a few times (you know, when your eyeballs get locked on an object or nothing)

Curtain Springs was a hoot. The woman behind the bar is from 30 mins away from my place! There was another Irish lad there, his car broke down and he had been there for a month or so. Very "funny" atmosphere.

Take her handy. If you take pics, itd be good bragging rights

    Good on ya

I envy you mate, that little bit of summer is coming to an end, now its all wet and windy. Enjoy the 3100km and takes loads of pics, even with a cruise control dont over do things allow enough time,.
Thats quite a hefty price for a control though I wouldn't (couldn't) do anything like that, I'll stick to vista cruise for 30 bucks, but then again I always did have a strong wrist

I have cruise control on my Tiger courtesy of a rubber O ring on the bar end, roll the ring in and it holds the throttle steady. Unfortunately you have to open/shut the throttle all by yourself! Total cost?.................£1.20.
