Honda Service Manual

One probably isn't supposed to have these things for free but I have an electronic version of the official Honda Service Manual for my aged VFR. It was easy to find on the web, easy to download and has proved invaluable. The Haynes manual is OK but the Honda Manual is my reference.

I've searched the forum and found mention of various downloads for the TA, tried a couple of obscure links without success but so far failed to find a copy; can anyone point me towards a copy covering my 1998 XL600VW?

Gave that one a couple of tries, failed a couple of times then told me I'd exceeded my free download limit. The site does seem to offer the option to pay but I'm not convinced by my initial experience; hmmm.

Any other suggestions or am I just being a cheapskate? If so is there a reliable source of a decent electronic Honda manual?

did you register at the site? i think you need too before you can do any downloads

Ah, downloaded fine but the one I tried is a scan of the Haynes manual, I'm after a Honda manual;trying a second one now...
