    Half of a happy ending!

Whilst I have been scammed out of £198 by good for nothing scrotes, those great people at Motorcycle-Movers have delivered as promised!!
My Transalp is here at long last!!!!!!! HOORRRAAAAYYYYY

And it rides better than the one I took out from the local dealers!!!

(it does have a strang transmition whine that seems to be vehicle speed rather than engine speed related. Didn't notice it on the other I rode but it did have an after market can rather than the stock item and was MUCH louder, is this normal??)

The happy ending will be complete when I get my money back from scrotey transport!!

    Chain too tight????
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

Any more news on that front yet? The eBay thread about Helmsley Transport or Helmsley Cars scamming hasn't been updated for a while now.

EDIT: Just heard that the net is closing in on them.

If it is your chain that's too tight, you want to slacken it sooner rather than later - you can do some serious damage to the gearbox output bearing.
