It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

I know these might sound like silly suggestions, but sometimes it is the simple things that count.

Have you checked for a spark? Use an old spark plug held against the head, rather than remove one.

It could also be the battery needs charging, even while standing it has a slight drain.

I would definatly drain tank and refill with fresh fuel and some carb cleaner. Petrol has probably turned bad after sitting for 4 years and thats probably all thats wrong.

Re: 95 600 ta wont start ??

Its been sitting 4 WEEKS not 4 years!!!!.
Petrol will not have gone off in that time if it was running ok 4 weeks ago.
Probably just the battery voltage has gone down a bit and now when you are cranking it is dropping below the threshold for correct triggering of the ignition circuit.
I sometimes have the same probs with my old 82 XS1100 and 04 DRZ400 and my mates XS750. You think it is cranking ok but will not start, I connect up jumper leads to one of my old tractor batteries and vroom, off it goes immediately.
If you have no jumper leads and spare car or bike battery then charge it up overnight with a controlled voltage charger or if you have just got a bog standard simple charger then remove it when the voltage rises to 14.4V
Good luck and hope you get going again.
