Great! Thanks for the tip-off. Just placed an order for one. They said they'd notify me when it became available. Guess the system's not quite perfect.

Had one of these on my baby Varadero - worked a treat at keeping the front of the bike a lot cleaner - and it looked pretty tidy too. But yeah, you have to wonder on what is meant to be a practical, all purpose bike, why Honda didn't give us a mudguard which is long enough to do the job properly. Comes down to fashion and the pressure from "styling", I guess.

Pretty good service from Pyramid... ordered on Thursday, arrived on Friday, and fitted by me on Saturday...
It adds an extra 5 1/2 Inches to the length of the mudguard so it should make a useful difference in reducing the amount of crud on the front of the bike.
Looks pretty tidy too...

The only tricky thing is making sure to drill the holes for the screws accurately - I used a Dremel-type mini-drill.
