    cars

keep you warm and safe, but so dull

I'm ashamed to say I've driven to work these last 2 days, -10 last night, and the roads were covered in ice. I drove to work, and thought 'I could have come on the bike today' as I thought this the steering went light and the car started to gently drift to one side, before regaining grip. 'Maybe not' then!

Keep safe out there - pray for temps above zero

Pussy! I came in on my sons XR125 today as it's a bit more "throwabout"! (But in fairness it was only -3 down here!).

Given it was below -7c in Guildford I imagine you must have set fire to your @ to keep warm!

    Re: cars

I went to Lincoln and back from Surrey over the New Year. The return trip saw snow between Lincoln and Grantham. Must admit I cycled to work yesterday though. I live near a river and the way down the the main road had 1cm of solid ice on it

    Re: cars

I'm from near Seaford - my folks live there

do you no any green lanes I don't know about, as far as I'm aware theres the track on the north side of firle beacon which is about 2 miles, and the one through vert wood near ringmer again about 2 miles (very muddy at the moment)

look to be a couple near pevensy marsh on the OS map but haven't investigated as yes

    Re: cars

I left work at 6 o'clock this morning, and in front of a bus as I went around a corner and the back end went it's own way.
I managed to hold it and carry on as if nothing had happened, warmed me up.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
