    Rear Fog Light

Just checking th eold weather forecast, and noticed that after the biting cold, comes the FOG!!!!

Which got me thinking (Doh that hurts!)

Rear Foglights. Was thinking of fitting one just below the numberplate. Any one any ideas where you can get a rear LED Foglight. I know Honda do one but one and a half hundred quid seems a little stiff. Had a look round the interweb but cant seem to locate one.

    Any Ideas??

    Re: Rear Fog Light

been thinking the same, especially as the bulb on my TA comes loose every 3-4 months. I was thinking a second LED stop and tail, but brighter and fitted where the reflector is below the number plate. I am sure HG do something, but not available on-line it seems.

How about one of these, it could be wired as a stop light or a foglight.

    Re: Rear Fog Light

I've been thinking the same thing particularly after my very foggy ride down the M40 into work this morning.

I do so enjoy de-icing my visor every few minutes.

I was thinking of a small almost flush fitting retangular fog light below the numberplate - LED would be good

kindof a longer flatter version of the Ring fog lamp thegrumpyoldgit007 linked to above or a retangualr version of the one Mervinh linked to.

I've not managed to find one yet - any suggestions anyone?

    cheers
    Nick

Try busters or your local accessory shop.

    Re: Rear Fog Light

Hey, you inspired me to finally upload my pics from mounting a CRF rear light as a fog light on the XL700. It is a mad coincidence- there are mounting holes already on the XL rack that coincide perfectly with those of the crf light.

I have an album in my profile if you fancy taking a look.

edit- as it is a genuine part buying it new is just under 30squids- but maybe one can be found on ebay or somewhere if someone replaced it with a brake light (how i got mine).
