hello....... been trying to post some pics of my ta for nearly an hour now with no success. apparently if i click on manage attachments below this text box ( no visible icon !! ) all should be well. also,under posting rules, i cannot post attachments. why ? seems pointless when im trying to share my pics with you all. any ideas ?? cheers

I don't kow for sure but maybe is is because you are not a subscribed member, it's only £10 to join and worth every penny, I am sure one of the Mods will be able to explain better than me and probably a lot more tactfully too.

Ade, I'm not an IT ace so take what i'm saying with caution...

In order for us to see one of your photo's on the board here you need to post a link, & the right type of link too. To do this the photo has to have been uploaded from your computer to a hosting website. I know that some pics can be hosted here but I don't know how that works. I use photobucket (like stoatsngroats), upload the photo to their site. your photo on photobucket has 4 (i think) link options. Copy the link called "for bulletin boards" open a message window on here, click the wee pic icone (above the message window , yellow square with a mountain drawn on it) in the window that opens, delete the http bit that's already there then right click & paste the link you copied from photobucket. click OK & that should work.

there may be easier way's but like I said, i'm no expert ...

I click the IMG link box at photobucket, it's the last (bottom) one. That pastes the link into your clipboard, and in your XRV post, I click the curser where I want to put the link, and {right click} and select paste...Job done!

for example, I'd start a post here at XRV, and set the curser down 2 lines, by hitting {ENTER} 2 times.

Then In another tab where photobucket is open at my page of images, I'd select a photo, look under the image at the last box, which says {IMG}, where the link is just to the right of that, you click inside, and it's automatically copied to your clipboard.

Go back to the XRV post, and check your curser is where you put it, and {right click}, and select {paste}; you'll get an sentence like this

(BUT IT WILL HAVE [img] tags at the beginning and end!)
then write what you want, or do the above agan on another image, preview when your done, and then submit....

here are pics as promised. planned on giving the darling a blast out today but roads around our way were a bit on the slippery side !! playing safe and cursed weather. decided to fire her up anyway to keep battery topped up if nothing else. hope you like them. comments please!!

thanks for comment mate. its a v5. bought it just before christmas up in leicester. got a good deal on it too. birthday in a week. have heard theres engine bars, tank cover and optimate winging my way if im a good boy !! cheers !
