    Master Cylinder, front, separator thingy

Hello, has anyone managed to remove the wee plastic separator disc from inside the master cylinder on the TA?

My brakes have been sticky for a while now and after having gone through everything else, new pads/pistons/seals/copper grease/slider seals and grease they are still sticky. Last night I found the bottom of the master cylinder to be caked with a silty brown gunge. Have most of it out and am sourcing a repair kit for it but can't get the last wee bit out of the bottom of the assembly.

Given how small plastic and insignificant this bit is, most likely will shatter into a thousand pieces if I try to remove it.

Anyone tried to get this out before, I can make it spin round but it seems unwilling to budge otherwise?

    cheers

Not sure which bit you mean. Have you got a photo of the offending item?

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Part 16 in the pic there, its just a wee plastic disc with some holes cut in it, guy at local Honda garage didn't seem too sure how it comes out, suppose they have never had to do it.
