    Crash Bars info needed

This may be a bit of a blonde moment question, but don't want to miss out on a good bargain.

The brother in law can get me a set of crash bars for the Transalp, (New £35 all in), but of course needed the year of my bike to get the right ones. As mines an 1988 model, the books say that the bars available are only for the 89 - 97 or the 00 - 07.

I think the 89 - 97 ones will fit but thought some-one on here can give me a definite answer to this.

88 to 99 were more or less the same, so i think you should be pretty safe.

What make are they ?, thats a nice cheap price.

Can get either the mo-tech or the givi, whatever make I prefare. Just have to figure out which is the best to go for, not worried about looks, just strength and protection.

Like a said, a bit of a bargain as the price is for everthing including delivery.

Hi Chalky, I wish I could mate but he was only able to secure me a set because a bike shop near him was closing down.

I was lucky as I was going the order a set of here, http://www.hard-motorcycle-luggage.c...alp_89-93.html they were the cheapest I could find online.
