Are the TA 600 & 650 rear wheels the same once they did away with the drum brakes after 1990?

One way to check is to get the part number for the rear wheel sub assembly, say from the ZSF web-site.
For a 2004 Transalp this is 42650MCB770
Zip over to the ZSF web-site, put in your frame number and you'll be presented with the correct parts fiches for your bike. The rear wheel sub assembly should be easy enough to find.
Some help??

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

also check the swing arm and spacers etc are the same as well ??

Hi,
I replaced both front and rear on my 2000 TA and found the spacers are different on some as well as the brake disc retaining bolts. Fortunately I have a lathe so turned down the spacers and drilled and tapped the disc bolt holes which were fortunately smaller rather than larger!! If you go in blind and grab a cheap second hand pair they are adaptable and its not all doom and gloom.Have done European trips all over with them and are as good if not better than the originals! I dont molly coddle her either!
