    Stalling whilst in 1st...

Having a problem that when I slow down to first for lights etc bike will not just tick over but stalls most times unless given revs. Is this a problem with carb jets being blocked if si how best to sort it, or is it something like fuel suply being blocked?

    Help please!

Could be as simple as your clutch needs adjusting.....it may not be fully disengaging

    no !!
sounds like your tickovers to low
    should be 1000 revs + or - 100
you can adjust this with the tickover knob
on the @ it was situated on the l/h side of the carbs
not sure if the TA's the same
if you have an handbook it will show you how to do it in there
if not i'm sure someone will be along to correct me if i'm wrong

Check the tickover is correct, the manual says 1100 RPM + / - 100
The black knurl knob is on the lefthand side between the carbs.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Or....
If the tickover varies, sometimes stalles, sometimes ticks over ok it will probably be the chokes sticking this will probably need a full strip, clean & lube.

    Try clutch & tickover first.
