    Header pipes....

Can anyone recommend a company for down pipes, personal expereince whats hot and whats not? I've sorted an after market can, but the header pipes need to be changed.

I have a 01 650 TA, and I think I 'm right to assume you don't need a collector box with an efter market can? Is that right?

    Re: Header pipes....

I have been wondering about these:-

    on this site:-
    http://supermoto-umbauten.de/109/Kr%C3%BCmmer.html
The price looks good (189€) but I haven't a clue about them.

Perhaps someone with better language skills will come along soon.

Yr correct Alec - the aftermarkets ive looked at dont have collector.

Nice ones at German company se well respected - just the poxy exchange rate to deal with so im hanging in there for a while to see if it improves !

I will get details (or someone else will remind us of the name !!)

What we need is a conversion pipe - chop down std system pre-collector & add "straight thru" adaptor pipe to end up where std system ends !

    Anyone good with pipework ??

It looks like we've looked at the same thing...there must be UK based companies making an offering.

    Re: Header pipes....

    Guys,

Thanks for all the responses, I'll possibly bite the bullet and order direct from Germany. My present down tubes are knackered and the back is probebly not too far behind.

I'm in a hurry now for the parts as I have a week in a garage where I can pamper the TA a little, she deserves it, ironing out little niggles and adding lots of nice bits....
