    TA 600 fuel cap

    Hi,
    Any ideas how to stop my fuel cap leaking fuel on my 600 TA......?

    They want £60 pounds for new cap from Honda, can the seals be change..?

    P.S any one broken a TA and got a spare fuel cap.

    my 600 does that too,common problem? mine is a 1998 bike what year is yours?

    Have you tried to get some corking material and making a gasket to fit around the edge of the locking ring.
    Just make sure you do not block the breather.
    YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    ah ha! i think Honda build quality has gone off a bit over the years and the 96 onward bikes are built in Italy so that dont seem to help.
    not tried any fix on it yet but will try the cork idea,cheers StumpyF!
