more pannier questions - specific i promise!!

Contemplating either hepco and becker gobi's or trax both 37L sets. I already have a givi topbox but need more room for my junk! I do a lot of motorway miles therefore a lot of filtering. Just wondered if anybody on here has either set and how far off the bike they sit?
I've done the usual measurements but not being a mathematical genius i thought i'd check with some of you experts!!

My bike uses the SWMotech carriers and 41 ltr Alpos boxes they stick out about 3" on either side.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

On my TA I've got 37 litre Trax panniers on a SW motech Evo carrier, the total width is 38 inches, which is about an inch wider than the handguards.
