easy question for a saturday morning....

how long should a chain last??

my bike has done 11500 miles and the chain is slacker than a slack thing and it has been adjusted to the full extent according to the markings on the swing arm..... it has been regulary adjusted and oiled.....

any suggestions.... oh and how much should a replacement cost and do i have to get the sprockets changed as well.....???

Chains tend to last or not, a scotoiller will prolong its life but depending on make / type it varies in length of time.
Change the sprockets as well to reduce the wear on the chain.
