    Transalp

    Hi all
sorry but i was tempted a couple of years ago and wandered over to the Suzukin V(wee)strom clan after purchasing a 650 - i even blasphemed and scoffed about the "underpowered" transalp etc
in my defense i had my trusty stead (600 Transalp) stollen and was not able to claim on insurance (long story) so was feeling a bit sour about whole episode and it was too much to bear buying same back again.....anyway......i 'm back!!!!

MOD EDIT: I'm sorry you are not allowed to post for sale or wanted items unless you are a subscribed member. If you wish to subscribe it's only £10/year which goes towards paying for the site upkeep and is generally believed to be good value.

For that money you shouldn't have a problem at all.

    re: Transalp

    cheers mate
nothing really wrong with Vstrom infact quite the opposite - at one point i fell in love with it and told my wife to hit me if i even thought of getting rid - which she will!!!
BUT a) i just want a change.....you know?? b) in my infinite wisdom i left it too close to the garage heater over winter and cosmetically right upper fairing/rear right indicator and screen have been er......"morphed" - totally functional and mechanically A1+ but i just want to see a different bike below me on my trip to work/pleasure.....better that than changing wife i always say but i am not sure she would aggree!!!
    take care
PS any vices on the 650 transalp - were they still made in Japan and trusty as old boots as per my (sob sob) 600?
