    tube sizes

    maybe a really dull question but changing deathwings very soon to distanzias. trail wings are standard 90/90-21....120/90-17 but will be changing rear to 130/80 ( m and p ). will i need to change rear tube size and if so who does them and price approx please? thanks again for advice cheers ade

    I think the tube size is variable, i.e. fit for different sizes.
    The rear tube on mine was a lot bigger than the tyre and was suitable for the standard and larger tyre.
    YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    If the tube is'nt clearly marked for a 130 replace it. Best buy an Avon to suit the tyre, surely the supplier of the tyre should stock the tube?
    Steer clear of nondescript tubes, there is a lot of crap about. I see it most days

    cheers for that stumpy.....forgot you have distanzias fitted so i take it you utilized existing tubes then ?

    Plus get a named heavy duty tube, for piece of mind. I replaced my rear tube with the tyre the front was fairly new, will change next time if the rust around the valve stem is risky.
