MPG
Hi,
Have a 98 TA, 22,000 miles, runs well but think I should be getting more MPG, lots of town riding but only getting 130 miles till it's time to fuel up, any idea's..........?

Check the air Filter is not blocked.
How many Litres do you put in?
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Yep, check air filter.
Also check choke cables/plungers are free.
I dont get much more from my 96 Alp. (it does have to work hard though
)

Hi all,
Air filter is fine and bike running great, i have backed of the mixture half a turn and still runs fine, I am going from Dorset to Devon Sunday so will see if she is better on a long run and will not go to mad....!

My 650's fuel gauge drops quite quickly after 90 miles but I find it averages 90 to 10 MPL if I thrash it on a long bimble it can get up to 12MPL.
