    Re: noise

Check very carefully for a loose or missing bolt.
They have an odd habit of falling out and catching in the gaps between the exhaust and engine and in the belly guard, they could be the cause of the noise.

    Re: noise

Does it happen if you are stationary and rev at 3000rpm or just when riding it?? mine seems to vibrate at about 3500 from somewhere at the front, but cannot for the life of me track where the noise is coming from.

    Re: noise

I have the same issue but at 4500rpm. It seems to be a common thing with them, and generally seems to be the exhaust brackets/guards shedding bolts. I can't for the life of me find anything loose on mine but it is making me really paranoid that the engine is about to die on me. Oh yeah silly me, the engine is bullet proof, it's a Honda!! Doh!!!

    Re: noise

Aye - got the same noise on mine, thought it was just something loose in my head so I bought bigger ear plugs

The plastic bits surrounding the headstick and attched to the tank may be the issue, even with the screws tightened they dont seem to be that well fitted... have been trying to hold them whilst riding when I do hear this noise... tricky though as im always in traffic when I hear it.

    Re: noise

seems something rattles at around 3.5 rpm, its a v twin away the strange thing is that it does not rattle while reffing it up on neutral. it only rattles when moving and on low gears
