Transalp Seat

I am shocked and confused How can this be right ?

I have a low seat on my TA and would like a Standard version, I asked David Silvers for a price on one and it is copied below

David Silver Spares - PARTS

Hello

Thank you for your e-mail.

Standard Honda seat is availabe to order at 285.06+VAT

Kind regards

Low seat £45.00

Does not make sense in my book

I have emailed them back to question it but any advice welcome

Hudders knows a guy near where he lives, who would refoam and recover for considerabley less than than, at least then you could have it sculptured to your requirements

Failing that someone on here may well be looking for a lower seat and willing to trade

What he took out of Hudders's he could put in mine

Cheers Russ just gobsmacked at the huge difference in price, if anything I would have thought it would have been the other way around, the low one being dearer, strange world

Keep the low seat Rob, and buy an Airhawk cushion, you butt will love you for it as you tour around Ireland!!

Re: Transalp Seat

I have a Transalp 2006 'Custom Seat' (professional job www.motorbike-seats.co.uk) which is 'low' and fitted with a Gelastic Pad. It is only taking up space in the garage and needs a good home. If anyone is interested please PM me and we can sort something out, else it will be on eBay shortly.

Mark
