    05 TA XL650 Electrode measurements

    Hi all,

Recently carried out a service on mt 05 TA. Decided to change spark plugs and bought some iridium plugs, although i was told that the plugs were pre gapped? As im a little cynical, can anybody please tell me the spark plug electrode measurement for my 05 XL650 TA just to be sure?

    Thank You

    Lee

    Plug gap 0.8 - 0.9 mm.

Or 30 to 40 thou in old money.

These are for standard plugs, by the way.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

I have never bothered checking when they are new only when they had to be cleaned, on the old two stroke machines. Now they last until the need for replacement.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
