Need some performance advice

Hi Guys
Looking at buying a Transalp (700) for a trip on the continent with mates riding an FJR and Pan European. Will the Transalp be able to keep up on the twisties and also what sort of speed are these capable of doing comfortably on the motorway ? Also how does the bike handle in this sort of enviroment.

Thanks for any advice guys

Both the Pan and FJR have the ability to leave you on a motorway, both on fuel tank capacity and speed, however you can cruise at 80 for 2hrs before refuelling which is enough for anyone

The 'alp will easily keep up in the nadgery as long as you are not too heavily laden down.... I used to run rings around a mate with an early VFR 750 on my 600 when we got into the mountains. It wasn't my superb riding ability either...

Yep, I agree with the above, you'll have no worries with the Alp in the twisties against the two barges, on the motorway, the Alp'll sit for hours at 95 if you want. You won't beak it!
