    Suicidal Brake pads

    OK as a few of you know i recently changed my rear pads and pad pin and so far coverd over 100miles with no fault untill today?

    After riding home with no fault as i pulled up in garage one just fell out broken ?

    No standard ones from Wemoto but asked for EBC as replacements.
    The chap at Wemoto said it looks like i didn't fit them correctly so they came out but i have covered over 100 Miles since fitting them with no problems so if i fitted them wrong surely they would of fallen out a lot sooner?

    hi grendel ,
    the same thing happened to me a while back , yes ebc pads from web moto[not their fault] I should have listined to higher advise

    Buy some genuine from david silvers tehy are awsome and have the backing shime and are sintered as std, go on you know your life depends on them and they aint much dearer

    How come the backing plate on the left hand one is bent at the "loop" where the pin should go through?

    That happened when it somehow got pulled out of the caliper? I could understand them failing if not fitted properly but i have had over 100 miles worth of use out of them with no problems so cant think why they would decide to brake now with no reason?


    Hopfully they will be sending me EBC Organic pads to replace these.
