Barkbusters and Vario Screen TA700

Has anyone else fitted both a set of Barkbusters and a Vario Screen to their TA700 ? Fitted the Vario screen at the weekend for a long ride up to Yorkshire . No problems , but I've noticed that on full lock part of the deflector on my Barkbusters is slightly touching the edge of the screen, and I'm worried that in due course (albeit a couple of years down the line ) this might be considered an MOT failure.

Anyone else had this problem or is it just me? Any ideas? An extra spacer piece behind the Vario screen perhaps (it is supplied with little rubber spacers already) ?

I ahve a 650 transalp with high touring screen and std honda hand guards fitted , last mot at a triumph dealer he said my guards touched the screen edge on full lock. So I said everything is std honda fittment and as it was touching the stops on the top yoke whats the problem, nothing he said just be aware it might fail elsewhere.

had it tested elswhere this year and no probs even when I enquired about this je said dont worry they all do that and anyway no one goes on full lock when driving.

The only time it caused a problem was when picking up dropped bike but have since moved bar ebd out 5mm so it dosent touch anymore with no probs noticed.

CAn't you just Swap the screens backs for the MOT if your worried about it. Cant see it being an mot failure

adjust the bars back a bit have mot then back-adjust
