Is an ol Transalp really cheap

Well after approx 6 weeks of ownership my cheap grand TA has cost me a pretty penny, at a time where I dont really need to be spending or rather haemorraging money
So the £1000 bike is now
    £100 front and rear TKC80s
    £90 chain and sprockets
    £25 oil and filter
    £20 air filter
    £13 fork gaitors
    £27 battery
    £6 spark plugs
    £33 renthal bars
    £10 grips
    £70 MRA screen
    £130 Excel wheel rim
£60 re lacing rim and new spokes
    £25 brake parts
£100 labour on brakes and bits
So a total of £709 on top wasnt so cheap after all

That is still cheaper than the Scooters I saw today.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

worth every penny mate, most of that would have cost twice as much for mine, and the pleasure you're going to get is money well spent.
Look at it as an investment in reliability when you see all the beemers and ktm's at the side of the road in france and spain on the way to humm.
