    new member, new 'old' bike

Just want to say 'HI', been lurking for ages on here but after buying my first Bike (1990 'slapper' that's been affectionately named Jordan) on Sunday thought I'd better become a member.

Planning a ride to Gambia from the UK in December 2011 (when youngest son has finished school) and so will be picking all your brains for info/advice.

Hubby has Varadero at the mo but is wanting an @? for the ride cos varry is too thirsty.

Anyway, bye and thanks in advance for any help you can give me/us....

Hi and welcome to the madhouse. Love your bike's name.

Ask away with the questions. The most obvious ones will have been asked a fair few times before - the search tool will find them for you.

Someone is bound to ask for photos of your bike - so be warned.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Hello and welcome to the forum.
A nice choice of bike, Photos are required here though.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
