    plods gone Trannie

I went to Cleveland Police ride to work day event this morning, excellent.

I was suprised and please to see a brand new police bike, it was a TRANSALP. I did take pics but being a thick northern plank I've not got a clue how to place them on here.

I must admit once an officer was sitting onboard it looked very much the part, great riding position meant good observation and presence.

Where can I buy blue flashing lights?

    UP THE WORKERS!

I have seen a few F650 BMW police bikes in London.
I think the Transalp would be an excellent replacement for them.
    So there is still hope.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

In about 2000 I saw City or Met police Africa Twins near Harley Street in London.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

They use them up in the North (of Ireland) - stranger still a couple of them saluted us! So there is hope...

Maybe I should repaint my Ta in these colours - might wake up the dozy fekkers that drive round Galway!

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

I may be wrong, but that looks like the 650 Alp rather than the 700
