Any one had to do handle bar bushes

Its the only part of the TA that isnt feeling right. There are handlebar bushes under the top yoke where the risers bolt in I suppose to eliminate vibes. I was wondering if renewing these it would tighten it up and make the steering feel less vague.
The only problem is I phoned David Silver and they come only with a new top yoke for £177... owch!!!
Apperntly they are known for making the steering feel remote after wear and I would guess mine are the same age as the bike, about 16 years old

When I saw the title I thought about mentioning check E bay for the top yoke and do a direct replacement.
It is expensive but the new one will make the bike feel a lot tighter.
It is just a shame that you have had to spend so much in such a short time of owning it.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Never seen a top yoke on e bay and a second hand one sounds just as old as mine
