One alternative i CAN reccomend (if you want something for "all bikes now & future") is the Bike Lift in the link below sold by M&P / Busters group (i think we get discount @ Busters still)

A friend has one & ive hoisted the Alp up on it (have to remove belly pan) and it was excellent & stable. So good i am going to order one next week

Yes i wouldnt say he's the shrewd-est businessman ive met I discussed with him recently my preference to on-line shopping for bike accessories due to the sometimes massive savings compared to prices in shops like his. I suggested he offer a discount card to folk who buy a bike from him... went in one ear & straight out tother You see many like me coming in looking & walking away.

Glad to you got Fog Light steal

The problem with paddock stands and the like is that you can't take them with you. I was on an 8 day ride in France on the Speed Triple in May and my friend had the wheel the bike around a car park every day while I squatted down trying to spray the chain.

A scottoiller is an easier way of chain oiling.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Thanks Silv

What you suggest is exactly what Big Rog was telling me that he did when he bought his bike, X% off anything he bought at the store as long as he kept the bike. Breeds loyalty that does !

Plus I went back and went through the numbers again, the C Stand was lower than that I was kerfuddled, so Japes when/if you're ready let me know and I'll PM you the details.
