    700 ground clearance

has anyone tried increasing rear ground clearance other than adjusting preload

the link for the rear shock has an angle in it, it looks as though inverting this link should give another inch or so of clearance - is this uncharted territory or is this a known trick?

Wheeliebin raised his 650 TA via the link method and also bought some fork top inserts to lengthen the front sliders. If you do a search you may find his write up

The bike also had a great paint job in the early 600 TA colours in White

Thumbs up Re: 700 ground clearance

This is my only real beef re. my Transalp 700. I have a centre stand that makes it even lower. I have recently riden into central Australia and hit some massive goolies (rocks) and made my blood go cold every time it happened. I am keen to raise my bike as well, I was thinking 21" front wheel and was not sure about the rear lift, but you have given me food for thought.
