Xenon Bulb Upgrades

Hi, has anyone tried to fit a xenon headlight bulb with a ballast convertor etc to a 700v transalp. if so was it worth it where did you fit the ballast box?

Dogmatic fitted an HID Xenon bulb to his 700 but as the shield was the wrong type it is not adjusted correctly.

Hi, got one fitted to mine best bit of kit ever really worth the money. fitted ballest converter behind the nearside indicator trim panel and fed the wires out through the hole there. can't tell anything has been altered. looks and works great. also fitted LED side light bulb so its all bright white light.

I've had mine checked a couple of times now and are shown to be legal Though if you want to be absolutely certain then get an H11R type bulb, the R indicates some silver coating as a shield on parts of the bulb to help mask out the spill area. Here's a pic sorry about the focus !
