Coolant recommendations

The coolant debate is warming up, but the thread is getting long and winding.
Might it be worth compiling a small list of coolant brands readily available, their cost and location to buy.
Tis sure the time time to be checking and changing.

I have no idea which coolant brand I use, I get mine from work.

You need a high quality ethylene glycol antifreeze with corrosion inhibitors specificaly recommended for aluminium engines which does not contain silicates. These may cause wear of the water pump seals or blockage of radiator passages. Use with distilled water. See your owners handbook. Dave.
