Best bet may be buy a 19 rim and spokes and get it re built to your original hub

I dont understand why do people need to go from 21 to 19 front? Also do not understand why its necessary to put non spoked wheels on transalp?
    Can someone explain please?

If your not going off road a 19 wheel will handle better, as for cast wheels..... why do people put alloys on their cars, guess its a fresher image thing

I'm downsizing so it drops the height so I can fit my bike into my motorhome easier.
Yeah Phil I know what your saying, did actually contact a chap who would build me a 19" rim......£200+tyre.
Just thought I may have been able to salvage one from another model so it was cheaper

The 700 Transalp has a 19" front wheel.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

But people like something different, with me its every week maybe some dont like spokes so a cast wheel is better to clean and have no issues with spoke tightening/rusting. There was a 600 TA on e bay a while ago with a 19" wheel and it looked good enough, road work on the new 700 is meant to be better for it CBRs dont look as nice anyway

I know a man of this parish that has a 17" front wheel for his TA - it doesn't have look strange with a diddy front rim.
Sharpens the steering up a bit as well I believe
