    BUM DAY.

Well after a bum week at work with odd hours and stress and more stress
I was looking forward to a pleasent weekend,
Not so I took the bike out for an enjoyable blat down the lanes and to stop at several places along the Moray coast, when not too far from home [thank god] BANG front blowout I was not going very fast so I was able to control the bike and pull over into a layby.
So after an initial inspection there was no visual sighns of a puncture but the tyre had run deflated after the initial BANG and the bead was deformed so as I was just down the road I managed to get it home and strip the front wheel.
Well although the wheel was sound on the outside a 1" shard of alloy on the inside had lifted up near the valve and had sliced through it,
I was lucky strangely enough I was in contact with ritosxf a few weeks ago about having the wheels overhauled a must now and also some new tyres, what to buy .

    BIG D.

Glad to hear that you managed to stay right side up.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

At least you kept the bike under control.
So it costs Money to fix, but if you had lost it you would not be able to earn the money to fix it.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Close call or what ?

Glad your OK and that the machine is fixable.

Note to self - check the inside of rim when doing next tyre change
