10w 40 semi synth bike oil.........dont forget a nice new filter..
I use Castrol GPS 10W-40 and have done for over 220,000 Honda V-twin miles (spread over 3 bikes).
The only thing is, engine oil is starting to get as expensive as petrol nowadays.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!
thank for that mate. I have been using good quality oil but it was not semi senthic ,do you have any clutch slipping with the semi senthic.
Cheers mate.
Not had any clutch slip with the Shell Advance VSX4 10w-40 semi-synth that I use in my '04 Transalp. Good stuff.
And a new filter always helps.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

I am using Guardian Rock Oil 10W40 semi synthetic with a K&N oil filter.
Oil supplied from www.wemoto .com & the filter was bought on e-bay.
